The LiftMaster 6580L is designed for households that regularly use the garage as a primary entrance. Its belt driven system limits noise during opening and closing, while the integrated video camera provides a wide view of the garage, including visibility at night. The camera can also be repositioned to capture the desired viewing angle.
Through the myQ app, homeowners can check the door, operate it remotely and manage who can enter from a phone or tablet. Two LED panels distribute 1,500 lumens throughout the garage, and the wall control activates the lights when motion is detected. If electrical service is interrupted, the included battery allows the door to continue operating.
The system includes a three button remote protected by Security+ 3.0, a motion detecting wall control and safety reversing sensors. It works with HomeLink version 4.0 or newer and is covered by a six year motor and belt warranty. The LED lighting and parts are covered for one year, along with the battery, camera and accessories.
