The Genie G3120HL works with most properly balanced residential sectional doors measuring up to 10 feet high and weighing up to 500 pounds. It can open the door at speeds of up to seven inches per second, while the DC powered system gradually controls acceleration and stopping to limit sudden movement. A C channel rail adds strength and creates a cleaner appearance once installed.
After connecting the opener to a home network, homeowners can use Aladdin Connect to check the door, operate it remotely and review activity from a smart device. The system works with Alexa and can pair with as many as 16 compatible remotes, keypads and other wireless devices. Intellicode® helps prevent stolen access codes, and vehicles equipped with HomeLink® or Car2U® can connect without an added repeater or bridge.
The integrated LED system provides lasting illumination without replacement bulbs and is designed to avoid disrupting remote performance. An optional battery unit can be added for continued operation during an outage, while the six foot power cord provides additional reach during installation. Warranty coverage includes the motor for its lifetime, the belt drive rail for 15 years or the chain drive rail for five years.
