Walking for Breast Cancer Awareness

We’re Joining Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

We’ll have a team participating in the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, joining our community to support people affected by breast cancer and the work of the American Cancer Society.

It’s an opportunity for us to come together outside of our daily work and take part in a cause that touches many families. We’ll be walking to recognize survivors, support those currently living with breast cancer, and remember loved ones who have passed away.

Wearing Pink This October

Our team is also wearing pink throughout October to bring visibility to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You may notice pink during our service visits and as we work in the community. For us, it represents the survivors, patients, and families we’re walking to support. We hope it also serves as a reminder to check in on someone in your life who has been affected by breast cancer.

What Making Strides Helps Fund

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer raises money for the American Cancer Society’s research, patient programs, and support services. Donations help fund breast cancer research and connect patients and their families with information and resources during treatment and beyond.

A diagnosis can bring questions about care, changes to daily routines, and challenges for the whole family. Knowing where to find reliable information and assistance can help people navigate those concerns. Participating in the walk gives us a way to contribute to that work while joining others who share a personal connection to the cause.

Ways to Show Your Support

We invite our customers, neighbors, and friends to participate in the walk, make a donation, or share the event with others. Each offers a way to contribute to the fundraising efforts and bring more attention to the resources available through the American Cancer Society.

If you’re interested in attending, the event page has information about the walk and registration. If you can’t be there, you can still donate or pass the details along to someone who may want to participate.
